The April 12th meeting of Women Philanthropists for KU provided an opportunity to learn about KU's Confucius Institute. Established in 2006, the Confucius Institute at KU is part of an international network of Confucius Institutes dedicated to enhancing the understanding of the Chinese language and culture. Prior to the morning meeting, those who attended visited at a reception in Regnier Hall on KU's Edwards Campus.
